Hmmm, trying to be a full time photographer, a full time father, a full time husband and a full time engineer has it's drawbacks: I have to put the blog on the backburner sometimes.
Since I have last checked in here I was invited to the warped tour as a guest photographer to shoot the bands, and to do some PR work for the wonderful people at Greenpeace. I have shot several weddings which have kept me busy, and I'm in the midst of potty training my oldest son Milo. Give it a few days and I promise you will see some cool stuff from the warped tour, including nut not limited to TAT, the AKA's, Bad Religion, NOFX and Anti-Flag. Stay tuned.....

GHPA June 7, 2009- Geauga County Fairgrounds
I had the fantastic opportunity to shoot the GHPA show on June 7th, 2009 at the Geauga County Fairgrounds. There was a very talented pool of riders, both young and old, with some of the best behaved (and looking) horses I have had the pleasure to be around.
I intend to go back for the next event to continue shooting, and hopefully I will have the opportunity to shoot more of the adult riders as I spent the majority of my time at the ring with the younger crowd.
If you are interested in seeing the full gallery please visit www.mdh-photography.com/ghpa2009 there are many more photographs from this event.
If you would like to arrange a private photo session, book a wedding, or senior portraits, please head on over to my website for my contact information. www.mdh-photography.com rates starting at $75/hour for on-location shooting with a free 8x10" and two 5x7" proofs.

First wedding of this season
...went off without a hitch if you would excuse the pun.
The entire celebration was great.
We were able to capture the energy of the bridal party as the group partied into the night.

I shot 14 kids on easter.
Sometimes it's tough enough to get the extended family together.
It's even harder to get the kids to behave long enough to get them in the portrait studio.
I will come on location for a photoshoot, and will likely yield better results with the kids being relaxed
as they see that their parents are relaxed as well.

Family Portraits
March 28-2009
Location: Northeast Ohio (Akron Area)
Family portraits for some friends, two well behaved children, and some very happy parents.
The hardest part of the entire shoot was keeping the infants attention, Mom and Dad were very helpful in
keeping the little guys attention, which can be hard to do while trying to compose and frame the picture properly. The girl on the other hand was simply an angel, she was a bit shy at first, but once she realized that she had met (and played with) my older son, she was more than happy to pose for my camera.
